Are you ready for some football?! The condensed 2020 season kicks off tonight as 6 of the 7 Arkansas Valley teams playing football in Season A take the field. And we’re back with out most popular segment here, its time for Ark Valley Sports Game(s) of the Week. This week we feature two games from the schedule. We’ll start here with Crowley Count traveling to Akron to start their season.

The Chargers have dropped to the 8-Man ranks this year after being a perennial playoff team in Class 1A. It will be a new look Charger team as they get ready to adjust to the 8-Man game. Akron has been a staple in 8-Man for years, except last year where the Rams placed last in the A-8 Plains League. Remember we are going to be giving you stats from the 2019 season, so it won’t be a true reflection of this years teams. Ark Valley Sports Prediction:

It’s the Chargers first year in 8-Man football, so it will take some adjusting for the team. The adjusting doesn’t take long as they take on a down Akron squad. Chargers on top, 48-22.
